As I am trying to research it. I was trying to gather info on a California Cardroom "Elmo Club" that has been gone for many years and stumbled upon the "Target Club". It is most likely a California chip with the mold, but I need more info. I spent the week starting on one Club and ending up with 3 to look at. I need to get a timeline and addresses in order. The Foster's Club (Foster City) is the 3rd.
I don't know how Gene and the boys stay focused when info just keeps coming in. I get side tracked and forget what i was looking for in the first place. I am hoping to have some definitive answers by Christmas time. I do have some historians from 4 cities working together to help. Most guys in the hobby might not care, but I think the California boys will like the info.

THE ELMO CLUB chip has eluded me for about 5 years. I will pay or trade well for this chip. It was a place about 1 1/2 miles from where I live now. The building is gone an so is most of the history. I couldn't fine a single image of the Club at the Historical Society.
