Re: Great Chair, great Story and Great looking kid

Our next door neighbor around 1975 was a painter. One day he came over and wanted to show me something he picked up for me since he knew I collected antiques and other weird stuff. It was an old electrically operated hydraulic dentist chair. Dang thing weighed several hundred pounds but it still worked. A few years later our oldest daughter was running near the dentist chair and slipped on the floor. She cut her head on the foot stool on the chair and needed a few stitches. That was the end of the dentist chair - Cindy and her cousin traded for an antique sofa that we still have in our living room.
