I don't know many of the rules, but I used to think that you couldn't track parcels with the insurance number.

However, at the 24-hour Automated Postal Centers (self-mailing kiosks), lately I have been been buying Insurance (usually $50 worth) and ignoring the Delivery Confirmation (now, Tracking) option. But I can track it just fine online from my home with the insurance number. I wonder if PayPal accepts that?

(I know tracking/Delivery Confirmation is free with PayPal postage shipping labels, but sometimes I use the Post Office.)
