I was wondering if the chip even dates earlier than 1945, the date he filed for the patent. It seems unlikely for the Taylor Co. would wait so long to put a product in play if customers really wanted it. The TK design is so specific to a name and company, who would want to copy it? I could see someone knocking off the Arrowdie or suits molds. Does anyone have the Taylor Co. records? Did all chip makers patent mold designs?
