I never understood why anyone would buy a roulette chip for $1.00 and then have someone buy back into the game for $5.00 per chip (I’m assuming they were buying for higher values but this isn't mentioned in the story)! If you're going to do something illegal like that, I would hope you would at least buy in for $100 per chip so you could make a fair amount of cash.

And on top of that, what could you bring back; 20 - 40 chips to the table? I can't see how this would be something a team of 70 criminals would want to do to make money. (If you’re lucky you make a couple thousand off the scam per round).

Heck, it would be better the buy them for $1.00 each and sell them to us for $3.00 (and you don’t go to jail for that )
