62 known to have not been destroyed likely came directly from the casino, the Colorado Gaming Commission, or both. Some of the smaller Colorado casinos abandoned table games within days after opening, and they didn't order very many chips to begin with.
I'd suggest that maybe a dozen of this particular chip are not in permanent collections so you'll see some of the same dozen chips on the market from time to time. A few may become available when a collector decides to change the focus of his or her permanent collection, while at the same time, some may fill holes in other permanent collections, never to be offered for sale again. What ever you see concerning the sale of one of these chips, the chip will ALWAYS be one of the 62 survivors.
Even in today's deflated market, Archie's bid price on this chip very reasonable.
