Odd? To me, not really. But I'm certainly not the best qualified person to talk about the chip manufactering process. Take a look at the different spacings for the different Hollywood Club chip issues. Different spacings for "Hollywood," or "Club"....variences in the denomination styles, etc. I'm thinking they slapped it together each time they needed to make an order.

Bottom line is...even if they matched exactly, we can not make the attribution with the descrepancy of years. 1951= last known operation of the Hollywood Club, 1958 first known offering of the weave mold.
