Hi Mike; Have not seen the ad in Casino Player, but I'm well familiar with the magazine, having been a subscriber for quite some time. Casino Player has already published several articles about the club, and chip collecting, in past CP editions over the years. They have been very supportive of the club. I spent almost a whole day in their Atlantic City offices a few years ago, allowing them to extensively photograph literally a hundred or more of my chips for one of the layout stories they were preparing. In fact I was invited by Senior Editor Roger Gros, to participate at two of their Gaming Expos as a speaker .... once at TropWorld in Atlantic City, the other occassion was at Taj Mahal where I gave slide presentations on collecting casino chips. I was also invited back to give a similar presentation at a Gaming Expo to be held at Tropicana in Las Vegas about two years ago, but it was scheduled for the same weekend as our CC>CC National Convention and I had to decline. Casino Player even gave me a complimentary hotel room and a $100 honorarium on each occassion at the Atlantic City Expo's. It might be time to give Roger at CP a call. Maybe they would be interested in doing a follow-up story. As for the chip board advertisement you mentioned..., that does sound like a very reasonable price. Are you certain that it comes with the 20 $1 chips you've described? If so, it's a good deal. Bet they sell out real quick if it's accurate. Regards, Archie
