Could it be one of those chips they put on the blackjack shoes (my vocabulary seems to be failing me right now )? Just a possibility. I have no idea why it has a hole directly in the center and no hot stamp on one side. I would suspect it is not part of a gift shop item like a belt buckle, though. I doubt they would use such a small denomination. Not as exciting to buy for the average buyer, I would guess.
