This chip is in the Cuban collection of many chippers because it has been found in Cuba in large numbers.
But this is an European Jeton. It is not uncommon to find European chips/.jetons in early century Cuba. Most gambling places of significance were in the Spanish Clubs. They had much stronger connection with Spain and Europe than with the US and they would bring Jetons from closed clubs in Spain.
BTW John, the chips that you have as CC crossed are from the "Colony Club" in "Island of Youth", Cuba, one of Lanski's last project before Castro closed the casinos. The crossed CC has nothing to do with the European CC cross Jeton you show.
