I had to drill it. I have a whole coffee can of keys and not one would even fit into the lock. Tried picking it and that didn't work either. Funny thing is that everyone at the auction was wondering how much was in the machine. But no one, including the auctioneers, just tried pulling the drawer open. It wasn't locked! There is about $20 in the machine. But I still had to drill the back lock off.
Is there anyone who is an expert at repairing slot machines? I now have two that work great except they do not pay out. Everything look like it is working just no money comes out. Has to be something mis-set somewhere but I can't find it. The spring loaded "
keys" engage the reel wheels properly when they stop spinning, the little kickers seem to work and if I pull out the top plate of the payout mechanism the proper number of coins drop out. It just does not happen automatically. I can't figure out what starts the whole payout mechanism because it is buried in the machine. Any ideas or leads?
