... and that is exactly what I do (which was, I think, David's main point on this). There are a number of potential eBay bidders who simply choose not to waste their time with "reserve" auctions. On rare occasions, I will write to a seller to ask what the reserve is and, if told, will either bid the reserve or pass on the auction. If the seller won't reveal the reserve, I won't bid. Most of the time, however, I just skip over auctions with reserves. ----- jim o\-S
