On the same site? I think it was an empty lot. I have to look it up, but I remember reading about someone purchasing the lot from a widow who had a large tax bill or something like that. Could be mistaken though. Now if he is talking about the first casino on the strip (Highway 91), then I think its the El Rancho, which was up the street, then the Last Frontier came a year or 2 later.
