The place was fairly new at the time... I was in the Denver area on business and did not have anything going until the afternoon so I shot up to Black Hawk and Central City - I was going around collecting and stopped into because they had some kind of Hot Dog special and I was hungry.

I was the only customer in the place; went up to the bar and the bartender was super friendly, got my hot dog and I started eating it; and two managers (male and female) came out and just started in on this bartender berating her in front of me. I felt sorry for this lady, she started crying, got her purse and walked out. I did not finish my hot dog I walked out in disgust. Been to Central City many times since (back when the place was open), never set foot in the place again. In all my years of managing people I had never seen anything this bad in front of customers. That's my fond memory.
