Greg, you are correct.
It appears the "Plaza" was only opened for a couple of years starting in 1954 when their chips were first issued.
Closed in 1956 when it became the "Palace" until finally closing in 1959 when it became part of the Harrah's expansion.
I love it when loose ends are finally figured out !!!
