Jim, I also dropped in on the Regency when closed

I talked with the owner,in side as he had almost cleared the entire casino floor, just the carpet and a few slot machines. I was new to collecting ( wish I knew then what I know know) we had a couple common friends, and had a great 1/2 hour talking. He did have the re-demption notice on door, but referred to another casino in town, door was locked. He opened for me, can;t remember why. Anyway I asked if he could sell me some chips, he said yes, I purchased at face all .50 to 25.00 3-4 each (2-3 different .50 chips). He went to the safe to get the chips. I never asked about dice, or Rou. or slot glass or any signage, or NCV chips ect.. Not sure if he had these items or would sell them to me. Live and learn. Side note about a Laughlin experience. I was luck to harvest 15 yellow (two different styles) Muddy Rudder slot cards from the small Muddy Rudder bar. Also, when the Flamingo Hilton opened in Laughlin I walked into a empty ballroom, where they had finished dlr. traing, and found hundreds of fun night chips 3-4 colors left on empty tables. I picked up a dozen of each. They were generic no casino name. Sorry so long. (my brother lived in Laughlin so I went to see him 5-6 times a year, now deceased) I now don't visit.
