I doubt we will ever know that though, more's the pity.
Zhong, if they were for sale at $2000 I wouldn't even be offering them, I'd buy them myself.
It's my own fault really, I was offered 3 with the remark "We don't think they're worth much but we know you collect them so......" and I could have had them for next to nothing but I said that I would try to get a decent price for them (boy, I really am stupid) hence........then others were offered and I managed to cobble together a set with a couple of odds left over.
When all is said and done, all I hope is that they go to a loving home and the people who are hoping to get money for them will be "happy" with what they get. I'd like the money back that I advanced a couple of them and you never know, I may even get something for my troubles but that is an added "extra".
The money is still "around" but people are being more selective with what they are spending it on, collectors ALWAYS have money for their collecting. I just wish it was on these plaques, oh well.
FeeBay have given me 500 free listings so I have to list something so why not these!?
