I am somewhat new to chip collecting, only have been collecting for a couple years now. Initially I only collected Vegas chips, but in the past few weeks after finding this board and joining the club, I have started buying chips from other areas. I have close to a thousand Vegas chips, so its time to branch out. Some have suggested buying chips from my local area, and I have started doing that. Unfortunately the closest casino to me is about a 6 hour drive away. That being said, its a little far for me to pop in to buy some chips to trade here or sell on eBay.

What I would like to get your opinion on is what to look out for and what to avoid. Are there area's that are not as popular to collect? I have stumbled into a few hundred tokens in the past year for next to nothing, but when trying to sell them on eBay, I was lucky to get a dollar, and would only sell one out of 10 which isn't worth my time (so if you are looking for a large quantity of tokens, let me know ). Same thing for many of the random chips I have gotten in lots on eBay.
