I have had color problems scanning the $20 Bellagio chip with my Epson. Your scan is about the same color as when I first tried to scan it.
After fiddling with the adjustments I came out with this scan, the Excalibur chip is in here because it's the same color. The orange color is really close to the actual color:

The actual color is a really nice bright orange, not the dull yellow in the regular scan.
Don't ask me what custom settings I used, I went through sooo many adjustments I forgot what the settings were.
Someday I'll try and re-trace my steps.
