I stopped in The Meadows Racino in Washington PA yesterday. It's South of Pittsburgh. I Googled up their chips on the Chip Guide before I went in and saw no snapper listed. I thought Great!, I'll get one. They had a large casino with many blackjack tables. But as I walked down the rows of tables I noticed no pink chips in front of the dealers.
I finally asked a dealer at an empty table if I could buy some $2.50 chips. She said they don't use them on the Blackjack tables. I'm thinking that's really strange. Has anyone heard of that before? she mentioned she thought there were some in the cage down in the poker room. I thought that was strange also. At the cage the lady said they seldom use them. Again, I thought it was really strange. Do poker rooms use $2.50 chips often? Any way I got one.
