If the State Senate passed the bill, it still has to go through the house, then on its way to the governor's desk.
Hell, even in a 100% Republican state like Idaho, the senate passing a bill usually means the bill will get re-written 27 times before it passes the house, where it goes back to the senate for 27 more re-writes, and so on and so forth. Idaho Republicans couldn't agree on the wording for a bill to tell President Obama what they thought of his health care bill.
Not trying to be an a$$ here, but I've seen enough bills pass one area of government onto to see it completely re-written or altogether die in the other area of government. If the bill ends up with the governor's signature on it, THEN it's time to take it serious.
But still an interesting bill. I wonder how many casinos will cry unfair to their local state house of representatives.
