the picture I took a picture of Lucky Baldwin playing poker, in the early years showed chips, as common private poker in homes,wish I had some of those chips. Folks, I talked to had no idea what I was asking about chips and casino.I think a photo said Tallac casino had bowling alley, billards, dinning, and guest rooms, plus a boat house. Sure was a great life back then, they brought up cooks, maids, gardners, ect. by train to Truckee, then wagon to north shore and steamer to the south end of lake. I love LT, and history, like you do.
