http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-23729996

Just 1.2 miles from the shore in Cebu City, my home city my wife and my families are safe.

31 confirmed dead and about 170 still missing when a passenger ferry and a cargo ship collided at 9:00 pm.

My father retired as Purser of one of the passenger ship of Sulpicio Lines. Prior to his working in this company - he owned fishing fleets and was blown away from the waters in the Leyte Gulf was missing with the entire crew for months when I was still a young kid. He survived the ordeal with the protection and care of his crews.

Have you been in a typhoon with a wind of 250 miles strength? I lived thru one of the deadliest typhoon in Leyte

See the wreckage of the collision.

Got 4 MD"s brother and one sister who lives in Cebu City. All are safe and accounted for.
