Below are the two in Chip Guide for comparison and mine is the last scan. There is no visible dots or patters when looked at it under a loop. Looks like a regular chip.
Let me say this...Unless my eyes are deceiving me, it's hard for me to reconcile that the other two can be labeled a variation. If that's the case, then mine is a abomination because it's completely out of character in relationship to the others.
I have submitted over 600 items to the Chip Guide since I have joined this association three years ago. My interests are purely protecting these images for the historical reference they have become. And, I am certainly a purist when it comes to accuracy.
