Re: Dice question
In Response To: Dice question ()

Hi,
If the logos are exactly identical most people would consider that a "pair" of dice. However, there are a lot of people who collect dice that only want pairs that have "matching numbers". The matching numbers usually indicate that they came from the same "stick". A stick is a sleeve of usually 5 dice(sometimes 6) that would be used at the craps table. The table personnel will open a stick(sleeve) and offer the shooter his/her choice to pick two of the five dice to roll.
Back in the day most dice had no numbers so it is hard to tell if older dice came from the same stick. Also, I have seen some dice(such as Caesars) where an entire batch or box all had the same numbers. That is not the norm though.
