I was thinking about this chip when I posted, but as David pointed out there were three of them; a 20, but 2 25's the previous year.
I was thinking along the lines of money involved as Gene suggested, since a $20 chip requires four times as much investment as a $5 chip. Four times 222 is 888 .
However, the $25's with a 222 limit came first, so my logic doesn't fit. And the 2's have a favorable connotations to the Asians, kind of like the 8's do.
Send me your address and I'll get your chip in the mail, Erik. You got that fast!
