volunteering your time in support of the convention. Its because of volunteers like you that we can make the convention what it is.

Now as far as organizing a committee to discuss things like this, we already have a committee.

Its made up of BOD members, Life Members, Dealers, etc. We call it the BOD

Only the BOD can understand exactly what's happening financially and the actual costs of the convention. Someone without that knowledge wouldn't know things like the convention room rental increases next year by $7,500.

The BOD discusses admission fees every year and other than Thursday people can get into the show for 2 full days for the huge cost of $5. If they don't want to pay $5 they can come on Saturday all day for free.

While some people may say that $5 is too much, did you know that the Comicon convention at the South point just a few days before ours charged $25 a day and $50 for a weekend pass. They even offered VIP passes for $150.

We offer a 3 day pass for $15 and even give away $10 worth of goodies with that.

How many people are we really "Turning away" for $5?

Once again the BOD discusses admission fees every single year and continues to try and balance costs and income as well as adding benefits and extras to those attending the conventions.
