When walking around the casino before and after show hours, it would be a very low cost promotion for our convention publicity if club members would simply wear their convention badges/credentials at the gaming tables, at the restaurants and buffet, the movies, the bowling center, etc. This generates questions from table dealers, casino employees, casino players and other South Point hotel guests about the club who don't know we are having an event there that is open to the public.
Also, I know that there has been some opposition from some quarters to announce a convention theme in advance each year. But some of the wacky "costumes" do draw attention to our event and when people ask questions, ... it's like hockey. "Shoot the puck towards the net ... things happen".
I would suggest a possible theme for our 2014 convention; "In The Good Old Summertime".
