They have started hanging out downtown at Fremont Street Experience too.
I'd rather not have the street hustlers, but its a 1st Amendment thing, or so I've been told.
I do give them credit for being in the 110 degree sun in LV with those costumes on -- must be very hot!!

I think the character hustling thing began in Hollywood some years ago, in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre (the one with all the movie star footprints / handprints). Every so often, some of the characters get in a fight over hustling tourist tips for photos. I think it was "Batman" and "Spiderman" that were arrested a few years back.
