Another interesting point....
In Response To: Your reply is quite selective ()

For those of you who didn't bother to read the entire thread from the other day, you missed an curious point. I noticed that there were 2 1/2 times as many views of his post than those who also then read my explanation.

David Spragg posted a note July 7 asking why I didn't see a new disclaimer on the chip listings that "admitted" the chips were made after the casino closed. I didn't see it because because it didn't exist at that point in time-

I posted my links on July 4 around 4:30pm. Spinetti changed the description on the auction July 5 about 1pm.... a full eight hours AFTER my original post. I also found a closed chip auction that ended June 16 that even then, still used the erroneous statement.

For how fast the statement was removed from the auctions after I posted, I only WISH I had brought it to the attention of the entire club 18 months ago instead of thinking that Sheldon would actually enforce the code of ethics of his own club. I doubt I will ever know who called Spinetti after the post and got the statement changed, but odds are good they are reading this right now.

For those who don't want to look it up, #6 reads : "Not to sell, exhibit, produce nor advertise counterfeits, copies, reproductions or restrikes of any item unless their nature is clearly indicated as such." I believe #'s 7 & 9 also apply.
