...as real chips. Even AFTER I told this one seller in particular he had the wrong information, he told me "I've never heard anything to the contrary". Interestingly enough, the next year, he changed the one chip I asked him about, but STILL has not changed the others I saw but didn't ask him about.
This is the first time I've heard about a BOD member basically protecting a lifer & a long-time friend. And as much as I understand not wanting to go down a slippery slope by filing an ethics claim, I believe with my membership money every year I would hope the board would want to protect me as a BUYER of a possible counterfeit.
This information tells me that is not the case, and I am VERY bothered by this.
When counterfeit and falsely reported chips are being sold by two-known life members, I would like to know what the board would do to protect me, a member for several years but not a lifer and not a good friend of anybody currently on the BoD, if I were to buy a counterfeit chip while being told it was the real deal?
Am I just off my rocker and need to double the amount of anti-depressants I am taking, or is anybody else bothered by this?
