Once I get a scanner functioning again I'll have to scan some recipes from a couple of LV Holiday cookbooks that we have . One is dated 1965, the other is undated. They have recipes from the casino chefs.
In one book the pastry chef from the Sands submitted a recipe for Fresh Golden Sno-peach Pie; the Flamingo Candlelight Room chef contributed recipes for Apple and Raisin dressing and Old Fashioned Cranberry Sauce; the Horseshoe added their Zucchini Casserole to the cookbook... . The other cookbook includes Braised Quail with cabbage, Dublin lawyer lobster, Basse du "Lake Mead" al a Juive, Leberkloese (calf's liver), special abondiga Mexican (chuck roast), and shish kebab of lamb .
