The Twin River Casino opened June 19, 2013. They got 66 table games and 4752 slot machines of all kind.

Twin River Casino is the official name to incorporate the new setup of being a full-fledged casino.

The present location of the Twin River Casino is the ultimate renovation and upgrade of the original horse racing which opened in July 7, 1947 under the name of Lincoln Downs, name changed to Lincoln Greyhound Park, then another name changed to Lincoln Park, and still another name changed to Twin River. For several years they changed to Dog Racing from the horses.

In February 1966 the closed the horse racing - Lincoln Downs closed.

Lincoln Greyhound Park became a racino.

In August 8, 1976 the fully converted to Dog Racing.

In 2005 Lincoln Down was sold, and renamed as Twin River.

Twin River Casino, Lincoln, Rhode Island is what it is now.
