I did not intend this to be a "member vs. non member" post but I guess you can't help but take it that way. Let's face it... this is not eBay with PayPal buyer protection. I think one of most common problems as Chuck pointed out is shipping with "I didn't get the chips" and "the envelope was torn and empty." Why? Nobody is setting the STANDARD on what is the proper way to send a chip. Is it the CLUB's responsibility to set the standard? Probably not. They are very busy with other more pressing issues and we as a club have progressed way beyond that now. Lets face it... you can't teach common sense. You either have it or you don't. If you don't have it you have to be told over & over. IMHO You should not have to ask, "Gee sir, do you know how to send my new card to me so you know for sure it will get here or do you really not care about it at all now that it is not yours." I think SEND ALL YOUR CHIPS SAFE should be a standard that everybody should practice. If you send my new chip to me in an envelope marked "please hand cancel" I personally will not deal with that person again.
