.. person I was ripped off by was a club member. This member said he sent me hard to get slot cards in trade for a very valuable first release card from me, in a STANDARD ENVEVELOPE! When the envelope arrived with NOTHING in it ( I had already shipped my card in padded envelope), I tried to get my card back. This "member" stated he had sent cards, and it was not his fault cards weren't in envelope. This "member"stated he would send me some "common" cards instead of the more difficult cards that never arrived in exchange for my first release card. When I sent several emails asking for my card back, with his refusal, I stated he could stick his common cards into a particular oriface in his body. At the time I was a member of the club, and this scumbag wrote to the claims director asking that person to take action against me for my "stick it" comments (are you serious). The "claims person" took no action and I left the club shortly after by my own choice. The law of the club worked REAL GOOD in this matter, I was out a very difficult card to get and got ZERO in return. Even though I am not a club member I have completed hundreds of purchases, trades, and sales with both club members and non-club members. There are many non-members that would never attempt to scam someone the way this "member" did. The only reason I write this is the reflection that dealing with non-members is anymore dangerous than club members, may hold some people back from making deals with those of us who do not choose to be members.
