Just check that the pictures are in a cross platform compatible format, JPEG ( so .jpg) are probably best, not .tif, or bmp.

Have you edited them on the laptop? or modified them? Try and keep the filename short, no spaces or special characters so 0001.jpg is good, but a name like "The chip from west never never no longer here casino special edition!.jpg wont work.

Did you convert the chips from one format to another by renaming them manually?

What OS is the laptop ie Winows or a Mac?

Can you keep an eye out for Australian chips for me please at the convention, and let me know what I am missing out on? Maybe we could strike a deal?
