As far as I know, the only way to get the 1971 Caesars Palace 50c token was in jewelery. Private 50c money wasn't allowed any more. Token is brass and has WM (Wellings Mint) marking. It does appear to be gold plated to match the necklace.

I've been looking for John's magic "14k" marking bur I'm afraid this is just plated. Nice workmanship, and the tassel seems appropriate for the Roman motif at Caesars.
