According to TGT, the name on the chip you
illustrate is the name of a property opened in
1993 and is still open. It may not be what Bob is
looking for (even though you said "a" Christmas
Island $2.50 ), because Bob mentions
a "short-lived" casino.
The only reference I'm able to find is that a
casino operation was under development on
Christmas Island in the late-80s that was to be
controlled by the Department of Territories.
Perhaps the casino in question was where the
present CI casino is/was (if still open) before the hotel and resort property opened.
