From checking on both chips
Seems to me that the C on 2012 chip goes all the way under the A and the R.
The 2013 C does not go that far
Many of the letters on the 2012 are not connected and the 2013 the letters are connected to each other
Also the L holding the mask in the 2012 is not connected to any other letters and the 2013 the L is connected.
I am sure there are other diferances but this is what I could find
