I wouldn't even attempt it with a chip, but I think the token will eventually be freed.
Terry had a sheet of encapsulated Harrahs chips (drilled) that he processed a couple of years ago. He knew the plastic wouldn't come off, so he left the chip in as small a hunk of plastic as he could. I believe he had a milling machine. I bought a couple of the old SMKEY's that I would never have been able to afford otherwise. I think one of the remaining chips is in an upcoming auction (not mine, though).
The red Pan chip is not one of those from the plastic project, but is a very nice chip I had not seen before.
