The first place I looked was the 1953 City Directory, which lists Bebe's Embroidery Serv at 324 North 13th. It also lists Fred K. Bebb at 324...AND it lists Bebe Harned at the same address. Directory also says that Bebe Harned was a "Pwr Mech Optr". Fred Bebb was an "Acct".
1944, 1945, 1946 & 1950 phone books have no listing for Bebe's or Bebe Haned.
October 1951 has Bebe Harned at 324 North 13th; Fred Bebb at 375 North 13th; no listing for Bebe's.
August 1952 has Bebe Harned at 324 North 13th; Fred Bebb at 375 North 13th; no listing for Bebe's.

August 1955 has Bebe Harned at 324 North 13th; Bebe's Embroidery Service at 1520 Fremont. Didn't run across Fred Bebb in any more listings...so I guess he didn't have anything to do with Bebe's.
July 1956 has Bebe's and Bebe Harned at 130 South 8th.
July 1962 has Bebe Harned and Bebe's Embroidery Service at 130 South 8th.
July 1966 has Bebe Harned at 624 North 23rd; Bebe's Embroidery Service at 1446 E. Charleston
July 1969 has Bebe Harned at 624 North 23rd; Bebe's Embroidery & Uniforms at 1446 E. Charleston.
July 1973 Has Bebe Harned at 624 North 23rd; Bebe's Embroidery & Bowling Apparel at 1446 E. Charleston. (This was the last listing for Bebe Harned).
July 1978 & January 1979 have Bebe's Embroidery & Bowling Apparel at 1446 E. Charleston
July 1989 has Bebe's Embroidery & Emblems at 1446 E. Charleston; there's a listing for Kenneth W. Harned...don't know if he was related to Bebe or not.
January 2003 has Bebe's Embroidery at 2913 Meade Ave.
Google says Bebe's is still in business...and here's a link to a story about Bebe's daughters...
