Knowing that the past history of the Helldorado Days Parade was a initiated by the Elks (Lodge 1468), I thouight I would decorate the car with images of B.P.O.E. 1468, crest and seal chips. I asked Rich if he could kindly provide me with hi-resolution scans from his collection of the four known colors. He did and I printed them out, mounted them to foam board and there they were.
At the Parade staging area I asked Pam where they should go and she immediately said, "on the wheels"! Voila! It worked great!
Unfortunately, I did NOT come across any Elks Lodge 1468 members. If I had, I wanted to challenge them with trying to back-track to when the chips were delivered. It appears that we do not have a delivery date on these chips. I'm also interested if they have replacement chips for the Club Room.
But a special thanks here to Rich Hanover for the great scans!!
