Granted, William Johnson's Casino Club is the rare exception, but I tend to agree with Ed's suggestion that "casino" in the place's name is usually a negative indicator, at least in Chicago. This place (2724 N. Clark) has been in my files as a "place of interest" for years without any strong evidence for gambling ever turning up, and I'm not seeing any new evidence here. Granted, there was gambling next door, and across the street at two different Frankie Pope joints, but given the density of gambling places on Clark street it doesn't necessarily mean much.
