Would you think adding a Director position is a good idea, if they were an unpaid volunteer Director?
I know that this may make some cringe.... but I suggest the BOD hire a independent (Not for profit) consultant
to do a weekend retreat with the Board in order to evaluate the organizations strengths and weaknesses and give us
full report about ourselves and a plan for the next 5 years.
We are a specialized organization, however we are a (Not for Profit) and we don't have to reinvent the wheel when there
are proven steps to strengthen & growth our organization.
I think a trip to the 501 C3 doctor for a check up, and tune-up would be a good idea.
