of the EDC they wouldnt have offered us that weekend as they would be a sure sell out anyway.

One of the problems is that I think the EDC is not on a set weekend and the actual date is only decided less than a year in advance.

This is another HUGE reason to stay at the host hotel as our club rates are Much lower than the rack rates the same week.

Unfortunately there were only 9 open nights still available as of Friday and I am pretty sure those have now been booked.

I agree that if your not specifically coming for the convention that it is a little far from center strip, but I think a savings of $100+ a night may pay for a few taxi fares........
