Re: A tool of the game; a card plucker....

Eddie Miller was the poker room manager at the Sahara in the 1980's and a friend. We fished Ensanada Bay for yellowtail many a day.

First time I walked into the Sahara was early 1980's.
They had 2 Pan tables going. As Jim said both tables were ALL little old ladies. No men playing.
I watched for some time. I noticed several of the cards under the table.

When the SM came over I asked him why the cards were under the table.
He said "what cards?" I don't see any cards.

The little old ladies were brutal players. vbg

BTW, that SM opened Hollywood Park, the largest poker room in the world, as poker manager a couple years later.

He used to fish Ensanada with us. Before we crossed the Mexican border we made him get out and walk across and then picked him up on the other side. Eddie, Donny, and I did not want to know him if he got searched for wacky tobacco. vbg Rest In Pease, Rick.
