Look at the circled building on your photo... (I blew up your photo the best I could to look). The front of the building exactly matches this building further down Hornby Street. Looks like the side of the building was remodeled. The exact number of windows on each floor match including the small windows between the 3rd and 4th floors. I was hoping to find an older building - not too many left in that area of Downtown Vancouver

I would say that this give you total proof that your photo of the Elks club is at 901 Dunsmuir. Which is Dunsmuir and Hornby in Vancouver.
