As all chips were made at Burt Co, obviously the formula was the same
Here is a little known fact - Paulson had more chips made with the CJ mold than Christy Jones did.
As both chips are now listed in the new Chip Rack 15 I can tell you the CJ chip was 1965 and the Paulson was 1971.
A little more info.
All CJ orders had shiny hats from the polished die.
When Paulson bought CJ they continued having chips made at Burt using the same polished die.
When Paulson started making their own chips, they took the CJ die from Burt and used it, but stopped polishing it, so you got H&C long cane chips instead from the same mold without the shiny hats.
Eventually the die wore out and they had a new long cane one made. If you look real close at examples, you will see they are fractionally different, including the outer rim size.
