Peter,
I too heard they would pay for Mac users to install the software to be able to download & use Ultimate Poker. That tells me that they are not close to making the changes in their software for Mac users. And that the Mobile App for the iPad is a ways off.
As I said in my first post on Tuesday, I do not have the desire to play online right now. I also want to be able to play other games than just hold'em & they do not offer any other games at this time. I will wait for the Mobile App from either Ultimate Poker or another poker site in the future. Which is good since I use Verizon Wireless for both my desktop & laptop & Verizon has not given Ultimate Poker permission to verify a players location. Ultimate Poker says they are in talks with Verizon everyday, so we will see how long it takes before Verizon users can play on UP.
Below is a link to a review about Ultimate Poker. The bottom line is they rushed the launch to be first & it shows in their overall product. In time other companies here in Nevada will be given the ok & I have a feeling their software will be a lot more polished than what Ultimate Poker rolled out on Tuesday.
It is nice though that there is now a legal ONLINE poker site in the USA! A LOT more will be coming, not only in Nevada, but all over the country.
