It looks like I may have found something new, after all. I just bought 114 chips and found these with them.
I'll keep 2 of the 6 chips (see below). I guess $12 total for one of the white ones (see below) is more than fair. PayPal OK.

The new find/class/series is a Reverse Die-Cut letter WITH A RING!!! I'll explain with pictures:

Here is inlaid Die-Cut monogram letter with a ring. Sometimes the ring is thick, sometimes it is thin. But the letter, in my experience, is always Die-Cut (never reverse die-cut with a ring).:
